Brown Bag on LibGuides; Thursday, March 20, 12:30-1:30pm, in the Smathers Library Room 1A
The Library 2.0 group will be holding a brown bag for everyone using or thinking about using LibGuides. This will include a short demonstration of LibGuides and then a discussion of the options for the standardized design and uses for LibGuides. We'll discuss our design options and how we can best use and integrate LibGuides into our current work.
This is open for all staff because LibGuides, while designed for subject and course guides, works well for any tutorial or help-style documentation and could be used for presenting handouts, creating internal manuals, and more. LibGuides is open to everyone at Smathers, Health, and Law, and we'd like to get feedback from as many people as possible to make sure that we use this tool to the fullest in terms of integrating it with our other work.
If you have any questions, please contact any member of Library 2.0 Group (http://uflibrary.pbwiki.com/Members), or please start the larger discussion on the Watercooler List: http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/pers/watercooler.htm
